Viola was born in Piscataway and  graduated from Piscataway High School, Class of 1986. She continued her education by attending Norfolk State University, receiving a B.S. in Business, with a minor in Management. ViolaI pursued a Master’s Degree in Business at Strayer University and is currently a proud homeowner in our neighborhood. Her daughter also attended Piscataway Public Schools, and Viola  served for two years as Treasurer for Quibbletown Middle School PTO. She mentored a group for young girls in the “Precious Jewels” program for five years, and  volunteered at homeless shelters in our area.  Property Management has always been her passion; she has over 25 years experience in the field. She’s currently working at Aspen Court as the Assistant Real Estate Manager.  

Viola ran for office for the first time in 2023, running an off-the line challenge in last year’s Democratic County Committee race.  She’s a member of the “Well Church” here in Piscataway. Under the direction of Pastor Marlon Wilson and executive pastor, Keena Wilson. She serves as an active member of our usher board and also supervises the Kitchen Committee. Additionally, she is the owner and CEO of  VI’s Cafe located also in Piscataway, where they can feed your spirit and your soul.
